One-on-one video chat, two ways to start
Choose someone from the online list
Browse the online list to choose who you’d like to talk to. If their profile shows a call option, review any rate before starting a 1v1 video chat. If they’re busy or don’t pick up, return to the list and choose another profile.
Browse the online listLet MimiChat find a match
Choose video matching for a one on one video chat with someone new. MimiChat looks for a partner while you wait, and you can leave the queue or end the call whenever you’re ready. For a conversation with your camera off, choose voice or text matching.

Can I choose who to video chat with?
Open the online list and choose a profile with a call option. The other person can still be busy or decline. Use matching when you want the app to find someone for you.
How do I find out what a call costs?
Read any rate or balance prompt shown in the app before continuing. The conditions can vary with your account and how you start the call.
What if I want to keep my camera off?
Choose voice to use only the microphone, or text to type without using either device.
What should I check before allowing camera access?
Check which camera the browser has selected, move mail or other private details out of view, and make sure you know how to end the call. If the device does not connect, use the video call checklist before retrying.
